Summary

Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile ("SQM") is a Chilean chemicals and mining company. SQM's stocks are registered with the SEC and traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

In its 20-F filed on April 30, 2024, SQM disclosed that it had received a request for information and subpoena from the SEC requesting information related to its business operations, compliance program, and allegations of potential violations of the FCPA and other anti-corruption laws. In response, initiated an internal investigation to identify materials responsive to the SEC’s inquiry. SQM said it was cooperating with the SEC.

This investigation is ongoing.
