Uber Technologies (Uber), a Delaware corporation with principal offices in San Francisco, California, is a transportation company. Its common stock with the trading symbol UBER is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

In its registration statement filed on April 11, 2019, Uber disclosed that it had received requests from the DOJ in May 2017 and August 2017 about allegations of small payments to police in Indonesia and other potential improper payments in other countries, including Malaysia, China, and India. The company said it was cooperating with the DOJ investigation.

In an 8-K filed on January 6, 2020, Uber disclosed that the DOJ had informed the company that its investigation was closed and the agency did not intend to pursue any further action.
